Committed to Your Safety

The GSD passed rigorous stress testing by EFBE Prüftechnik GmbH, with forces scaled up to ensure the frame and fork can reliably handle its 210 kg (463 lb) weight rating as specified in the German DIN 79010 cargo bike safety standard. Plus, its entire Bosch® eBike system—including the motor, battery, and charger—is certified to UL 2849 to ensure fire safety.
 

Brakes Under Control

Leveraging advanced ABS tech from cars and motorcycles, Bosch eBike ABS stops the wheels from locking up during emergency braking or slippery conditions, preventing skidding and maintaining traction. This enables faster, smoother braking with better control to help you steer clear of obstacles for a safer, more comfortable ride.

One Size Fits Most

With a Tern-custom seatpost to support larger builds and comfort tuning to fit even the very petite, the GSD effortlessly accommodates riders 150 - 200 cm (4'11" - 6'7") tall with a max weight of 130 kg (287 lb). Its adjustable cockpit resizes in seconds with the flip of just a few levers to help riders find their best fit, making it super simple to share amongst family members.
